A Community Rooted in Care, Serving the Upper Valley

About Us

The idea for Upper Valley Adult Day Care began in 2016, when local families and healthcare providers saw a need for more support for older adults. Today, we serve communities in Vermont and New Hampshire from our welcoming, non-residential center in Quechee, VT.

We’re here to support adults age 60+—and individuals under 60 with early-onset dementia—who may be frail, isolated, or living with physical or cognitive challenges. Our program is designed to provide meaningful daily experiences, while giving caregivers peace of mind and much-needed time to rest, work, or recharge.

What We Offer:

  • Nursing oversight and personal care

  • Engaging, purposeful activities

  • Social connection and community

  • Nutritious meals and wellness support

Our program is built around a medical model, offering both health and social support in a safe, respectful setting. We focus on what each person can do, honoring their choices and interests.

At Upper Valley Adult Day Care, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, valued, and connected. We’re proud to Share the Care—supporting families while helping older adults live with dignity, purpose, and joy

Mission & Vision

Our mission is to provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for adults with cognitive and/or physical impairments. We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life through compassionate care, engaging activities, and person-centered care that honors each individual's history, abilities and dignity.

Goals and Objectives

The Upper Valley Adult Day Care is a community-based non-residential program designed to assist adults age 60 and above who have physical and/or cognitive impairments by helping them remain as active in their community as long as possible. It seeks to maximize their health and independence, as well as to ensure their optimal functioning. Our program will provide a safe, supportive environment where participants can receive a range of professional health, social, and therapeutic services. This program will also provide respite, support, and education to family members, caregivers, and legal representatives.

As such, the Upper Valley Adult Day Care subscribe to these three goals:

  • High quality healthcare

  • High client and caregiver satisfaction

  • Reduced health care cost.

As a center for health and wellness, we are proud to state that we are more than just “day care.” We Share The Care with families and caregivers while maximizing the health and independence of our participants.
